This course will cover the following topics in cybersecurity: Devices and Infrastructure, Identity and Access Management, Wireless Networks Threats, Cloud Security, Host, Data and Application Security, Security Administration, Threats, Attacks and Vulnerabilities, Social Engineering and Cryptography. After completing this course, you will have a working knowledge of cybersecurity issues, earn your Cybersecurity Certificate, and be prepared to take and pass the CompTIA Security+ Test.
This is an online course that will meet once a week either in person or remotely with the instructor, Eric Robuck, who is the owner and founder of The Valander Group, a veteran-owned consortium of entrepreneurs and business people with vast networks of resources specifically in IT, Cloud Computing, Accounting, Business Consulting, Specialty Brokering, and Government Procurement. Robuck has his bachelor’s degree in computer science/mathematics. He also has multiple industry certifications including AWS practitioner, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), Security+, and CISSP. Eric’s information technology background includes over twenty years as a programmer, IT data expert, analyst, and security professional.
