This course will provide students with a structured, high-level exposure to current concepts, technologies, and strategies that are core to the cybersecurity profession – all of which is predicated on preparing students for an entry-level understanding of the Cybersecurity field.
This is an online course that will meet once a week on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 p.m. either with the instructor, Eric Robuck, who is the owner and founder of The Valander Group, a veteran-owned consortium of entrepreneurs and business people with vast networks of resources specifically in IT, Cloud Computing, Accounting, Business Consulting, Specialty Brokering, and Government Procurement. Robuck has a bachelor’s degree in computer science/mathematics. He also has multiple industry certifications including AWS practitioner, CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), Security+, and CISSP. Eric’s information technology background includes over twenty years as a programmer, IT data expert, analyst, and security professional.
